We began our first batch of kombucha on January 9 by using the bottom residual culture from 2 GT storebought bottles . We removed the newly formed baby scoby on January 24. The flavor was delicious and we are very pleased with the results of this first brew!

We are a “retired” couple with 7 acres in south Georgia. Leaving RN-Dialysis and non-profit tutoring, we farm chemical-free growing a few vegetables, fruit, and herbs, and raising sheep, chickens, and rabbits to eat.
