Potato Harvest Spring 2016

Isn’t this a beautiful photo of a Norland potato blossoms? This is the first year I’ve planted red skin white potatoes, and there was so much to learn. Thankfully, I dug a decent harvest and plan to pressure can most of these potatoes. The total harvest yield is 13 pounds.
The potatoes in the mesh bag have been curing for about a week in the house. The newly dug potatoes will cure a bit less because I’m eager to get them into the jars for the winter!
